Vain

She lay her head on the cold block of uncertainty
her tears wet the freezing lies of his confessed love
she whimpered..
stupid all she could mutter
emotions trying to jump overboard
she wept..
all the sacrifices and all the fighting of this imbecile love was all ashes
asking herself why,
what went wrong..
insisting that she was the one to be blamed
she stood..
heart is crying..
outside the chapel, she trailed her way
with rain on her cold system..
a veil of loneliness masked upon her face..
the skies cried harder
she remained walking..
NUMB.. all she wants to feel and
SILENCE all she wants to hear..
passing through the corridors
her dress sticky and dark
with tears and pain inside...
she sobbed..
lightning crashed
her bloody body, frail and not breathing..
lays on the church's floor..
holy gathering..
