On Meditation

active mind
branch to branch
a brain that
can't slow pace
one great vastness
like the sky
with clouds
that come and go
they never rest
both light and dark
but always
blow right through
upright posture
nose-tip breaths
awareness, my own
and the fellow
next to me said
'ma fuckin' foot's gone ta sleep! ! '
