There you are, standing there
With your back at me, pretending that you don't care.
But I know better, oh yes I know
In your thoughts, I'm the one whom you stare.

I know you steal some glances at me
And that's when, accidentally, our eyes meet.
You look away quickly, seeing me looking
Though it feels awkward, it's cute really.

You dare sometimes though, speaking to me
Pleasant words like 'Thank You' or 'Please'.
The way you keep calm when the issues are heated
Is the reason why I adore you dearly

Sometimes I feel like rushing at you
Hugging you tightly, never leaving you
Day and night I'm lost in your thought
Tell me, is that what you're doing too?

Oh! Come to me and please do dare
Stand in front of me, right over here
And tell me honestly, tell me everything
Tell me that you actually do care..
