It's the feeling of "aahhh"
When a thought hits you
And suddenly it all makes sense
Its the wind in your hair

The Jumper

One foot in front of the other
Its a long way down
I'm walking along the edge
Begging to be found
Cant see you in darkness
Cant hear you in the rain
Fall into the abyss
Or stay and go insane
The thought that you might catch me
Eases these old fears
The ones that have been lingering
For too many damn years
But that is not a promise
That you can make or keep
So maybe our dance
Should only happen in my sleep
Its there my heart is safest
Among my wildest dreams
Not all the way up here
Balancing on this beam
But to me that safer love
Taste like sweet tea, sugar free
And my lips too badly crave
The real, undiluted thing
