Live In Love

Life is to be lived and not feared,
Life is to be loved to the full,
Taken lightly, it is a comedy,
Taken seriously, it is a tragedy.

But our lives are like breakable toys,
Crushed in the hands of the innocent,
Loved in the hands of the cold.

We're not to be fixed,
we already are already broken.
But that's the fun in it,
The 'broken' part.
Never expected to be perfect,
Never wanting to be true.

So we live in love,
Sing to ourselves when no one's around,
Following the breeze, torturing the trees,
Then we suddenly pause,
Like the paper ripped by a pencil,
We find ourselves, laughing.

You take my hand in yours,
And we dance for our lives.
