I was borned in raised on the westside of Chicago. I was borned to Bertram C. McDonald and Sundii V. Richardson. My auntie Coretta McDonald raised me along with her two daughters. Finding Peace

I hide this pain on my face
With a smile hoping thigs
Will be okay

I wear this smile on my face
To hide the true emotions
That I feel

I do my best to be strong for
Those who can no longer do it themselevs

I wear this smile for my family
With the hope that
They will someday be in a better place
With the hope that one day
We will be free from racial
Tensions and inequality
