Oh small sweet child do not weep.
For God has given us a bed of grass
on which to sleep.
God gives us his gentle love to keep
...

Please judge me not by my outer shell.
Judge me not from what others tell.
Do not take heed of my skin.
Please, it does not matter if I am fat or thin.
...

As I watch children at play.
So happy and gay.
So full of love and fun.
Some day so very soon will they hate?

Don'T Ask Why

Oh small sweet child do not weep.
For God has given us a bed of grass
on which to sleep.
God gives us his gentle love to keep
us warm.
A blanket of stars that can not
be torn.
The soft cool rain to wash away
The dust of the day.
So wipe the tear from your eye!
Thank God for each and don't ask why!
