Victory, sweet victory!
A saint of purgatory
Came with temptation
In clever presentation

A Wishful Thought

If I could hold my tongue,
Stop angry words from being flung,
Sharp insults from spewing out,
If I could go the gentler route,

What Are Poets

We are not carpenters or masons.
We sit quietly, secluded, alone,
Building not with brick or stone,
But with wishes, fantasy, fact.
