Rejoice

Rejoice, I dare you.
The sweet smell of your perfection
assaults my fragile nose.
The color of your hair
attacks my eyes.
The essence of your smile
shrinks mine.
The beauty of your eyes
assaults my soul.
You and I were one
one heart, one soul, one soma.
My naivete lost your smile,
my treatment lost your eyes,
and my absence lost your soul.
Hear me cry, once more.
Rejoice, you found love again.
Rejoice, I am without.
