The Silent Voice

Underneath the inner shell
Thoughts and feelings
Begin to swell
The moments past the time is gone
The song that sings not quite as strong

Underneath the inner core
Where love lies deep
For evermore
The voice is quiet and cannot see
There is no place to set it free

Underneath the clearest nights
The inner voice begins to fight
It craves to see the brightest skies
To touch and taste and feel alive

Underneath the deepest part
Where all the thoughts have no way out
It cries and screams in silent waves
It sometimes lives in silent rage

Underneath the soul within
The door is shut love lies therein
The path is lost it cannot see
It cannot live it cannot breathe

Underneath the deepest core
The silent voice begins to roar
The silent voice begins to speak
The words not sounding quite so weak

The time seems right to let it out
To stop the painful inner fight
There is someone that needs to hear
Something more than that inner fear.

When I feel that inner flight
Ill tame that voice that inner fright
Underneath the silent fear
I’ll hear your voice forever dear.
