TOO LATE

I am enough
though blindness hides
...

MYOPIC RUSH

All was good before I looked
Continuing my gaze
...

Grant me a place
away from farce
Singsong themes
designated roles
...

LOVE’S TRANSIENCE

Love

Too Late

TOO LATE

I am enough
though blindness hides
distorts reality
‘Til I am lost
illusions deep
imagining a need

Where once I slept
on cushioned cloud
sweetened by the sun
I longed for yonder
journeys wild
valleys thickly treed

Too late I saw
I’d lost my way
a pristine river free
And all I had
beneath my frame
was rocky soil
of greed
