I am Doubt
I look innocent, white and pure,
But inside, I am the darkest and deadliest lie
Hiding underneath her skin, spitting lies into her mind
Making her unsure about her next words
Her older brother speaks to her in impressive words about a man
I see her fidgeting, biting her lips and twisting her hair
But then she slowly gives in to my deceit
My words lullabying her into rejecting His words
But she starts to grasp hold of this idea that someone died for her
I notice a greater Force, pulling me from the back of her head
He’s kneeling on the bedroom floor ...
