The beams of light are streaming through
softly sweetly in my room
that light is soft and kind almost like no harm it can do
the moonlight dances across the lakes to make a lovely sight

Here i sit thinking about the sorrows of life
herei am thinking about other's stirfe
each is screaming worry and myrth
they are scattered all over the earth

Ten o'clock news there's your face again
wll that's not who i remember you bein'
bass thumpin playing basketball
but you took a drastic fall

Birds singing in the trees
They sing a song just for me
Outside my window way up high
Across the sky they now will fly

In the dust abandoned and used,
she was left for dead harshly bruised.
Red handprints on her face,
this world's and awful place.

Lost in confusion no sure where to go
don't know who to talk to can't go with the flow
this life is so frustrating pressures i can't ignore
when i think there's no other way God opens one more door

Finger on the trigger ready to pull,
life has gone fast away from being full
It's all so meaningless why even pretend?
