Slowly Slipping Away

why does it seem as though everything is just slowly, slowly slipping away
as though it's all just slipping away between my fingers
i can't seem to grasp it tight enough
why, why do i still feel so alone, when i'm surrounded by so many people
why do i feel as though i have no one i can really trust?
will i always be so alone?
why is it that everything i had it slipping away
slipping away so slowly, yet i can't catch it...can't do anything to stop it
what have i done to be so alone?
what have i done to deserve having nothing and no one?
why do i feel so unloved? so alone.
i've tried everything i can to catch everything and hold it close...
yet it just keeps slipping further and further away
slowly slipping away from me.
