Just One Moment

Always moving,
Always working,
Never talking,
Running, whirling, please stand still, please stop
I can't keep up, I can't do it
I just need a break, give me one breath, one chance to pause
I only need one, I promise. Just one breath, one day
Give me time to rest, give me the rest
I will be better than before.

I just need a moment to clear my head, to stop and think, to stop thinking
so many ideas, so many thoughts always running never stopping

expectations
i can never fulfill them all
social life? impossible
Please stop it, please let me go
stop calling me, stop texting me, stop trying to play games with me

mind games, word games, number games; they're all games with no purpose, no reason

give me a reason
why?
don't talk just to talk; actually speak
and don't hear me; listen to me

give me a chance, the real me
not the me who laughs and pretends
the me who is silent and listens; who stops and thinks
let me think. Just one moment, one pause.
that's all i need.
