I Lost myself,
that I may embrace a new.
Yet, I remained distant to the new,
that I may find myself.
...
I walk alone, a lonely path.
Untrodden by the sullen feet
of yesterdays past,
The memories of tomorrow to ensnare.
...
There is no justified resentment.
As in life, we all
have a tendency to err.
For across the plain of performance,
...
Don't die with your music still in you.
For no one could've imagined,
the beauty of it's tenor,
nor the smooth rhythms of its anthem,
...
I Lost Myself.
I Lost myself,
that I may embrace a new.
Yet, I remained distant to the new,
that I may find myself.
For by remembering the past,
tomorrow is laid stretched, vacant-
To be waded upon,
Where I might inscribe
An indelible mark for posterity.
