When night falls, everywhere quieter,
The seas calm, the roads all to one’s shelter,
Out of the bloom you stroll out with that buzzing swagger,
Tiny mosquitoes, causing more harm than a soldier’s dagger.

The Mosquitoes

When night falls, everywhere quieter,
The seas calm, the roads all to one’s shelter,
Out of the bloom you stroll out with that buzzing swagger,
Tiny mosquitoes, causing more harm than a soldier’s dagger.

I wish, right now I could tear you all to shreds!
You sing melodies so irritating, only you understand,
What bloody mosquitoes
Flee; don’t perch on me with your detestable toes.
