God's Blessing

It's time to thank God for each day,
And humbly kneel down and pray.
Just thank him that you have a voice,
To praise, sing, and rejoice.
And when I heard that still small voice,
That's when I quickly made my choice,
For God he loves us one and all,
No matter if we are great or small.
He even fixed it on the cross,
Where we could be saved and not lost.
So why not take him at his word,
"Believe, Believe" I sure you've heard
"Believe" in the "Father" and the "Son".
The Holy Ghost will surely come,
To teach, guide and direct your path,
To God's eternal home at last.
So "Believe", confess, and be baptized,
For you will surely win the prize,
To that eternal home on high.
When God shall meet us in the sky.
So in the prayer that I was taught,
When I was just a little tot is:
"Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep,
If I should die, before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take,
This I ask for Jesus sake".
So if he rocks me off to sleep,
His promise I am sure he'll keep.
He has the keys to Heaven and Hell.
His promise I am sure won't fail.
So put your trust One who Love,
And sent his Son down from above.
