All through the day
Nothing as beautiful and dim
With such splendour at May
Full of vigour and vim
...
Love is a mess
It's very complicated
The more you try to understand,
The more confused you become.
...
Standing with an outstanding figure
Is a shape without a curve
Full of smiles and laughter
And yet is not smiling or laughing.
...
The Rising Sun
All through the day
Nothing as beautiful and dim
With such splendour at May
Full of vigour and vim
Ever not to be seen
But only seen in the evening
Of everybody's sin
Is the sun setting
Bright as the brightest star
Shining with so much light
Blinding the eyes from afar
Causing an impediment to sight.
You separate fond lovers
When your brother unites them together
You then seize their powers
To love and to bother
You rise gently up
And confuse man with your gaze
Then stand as a still cup
Beating man with your blaze;
Watchman of man's earth
Protecting and strengthening
Onlooker since man's birth
Onto you my hands rising.
You wake the sleeper
When the setter coaxes him to bed
You give them no breather
No respite, their days to be heard
Yet you bring a new race to be run
A new day to start anew
You! The Rising Sun
Fresh like the morning dew.
