I Will Never Forget

What did I do wrong?
I knew we had no chance all along,
But I thought I could change that,
I thought we could be,
So I gave you the key to my heart.
You went inside,
So I thought everything was fine.
But all you did was mess every single thing up.
Then you left without a word,
But the breaking of my heart had to be heard.
I cannot be mad for something I cannot control,
But my heart has turned to a lump of coal.
I love you and probably always will,
But you hurt me so bad and could not care less,
Im just such a huge mess.
