Memories crash like the waves within the caverns of our minds:
churning crests of euphoria into troughs of grief
spraying, every so often, a vaguely familiar sensational mist
only to be ripped away by a jealous cerebrum
...

Wherever I look,
I see.
But none of those things are me.

The world is a big and beautiful place to see.
How can I find somebody like me?

There are homes in the country or city to be.

Crazy

How was I to know?
That you'd really go.
I thought we'd take it slow.

Are we really through?
Living without you,
I don't know what to do.

What does it all mean?
Maybe I'm just green.
I hope it's all a dream.

When will I move on?
Time but creeps along,
Now that you are gone.

In whom can I confide?
I don't feel safe inside,
And when I'm out, I hide.

Is the end in sight?
It's morning, then it's night.
I must begin to fight.

Who can help me see?
The man I'm meant to be:
Joyful, happy and carefree.

I have a life to live.
My calling is to give,
So why can't I forgive?

It's crazy, but it's true.
