It's been a while since flowers had wither.
Where you see dust used to be a great river.
I cannot remember when everything died.

It's Been A While
It's been a while since flowers had wither.
Where you see dust used to be a great river.
I cannot remember when everything died.
Or when was the last time I was able to cry.
Clouds has stopped by but they left everything drier.
Clouds never has cared even when they've heard my prayer.
And the rain doesn't fall, the drought is getting tough.
Will someday a soft dew woke me out of the blue?
Skin has started to crack, strength is about to fade back.
But I'll keep this tug of war till the sky starts to pour.
The sun burst from the down until late afternoon.
In the night, there's only the cold light of the moon.
I've begged to every God to stop this dry spell.
I swear each day that passes it feels closer to hell.
Clouds has stopped by but they leave everything drier.
Clouds never cared even when they have heard my prayer.
And the rain doesn't fall, the drought is getting tough.
Will someday a soft dew woke me out of the blue?
Skin has started to crack, strength is about to fade back.
But I'll keep this tug of war till the sky starts to pour.
