Ethel Clinebell Poems

Double Trouble

Jump into my tandem and hurried down the road
To get to the station so I could unload.
For I had things to do and that isn't bad.
For I had to unload the coal I had.

Time Passes On

The old lady sat in her log house door,
In her rocker of leather and wood,
singing a song about her family,
Saying she'd do it all over if she could.
