The Highland Games

The hills echo with bagpipe tunes,
The 'gathering' is, in full swing,
Tartaned dancers are on stage,
Performing, the 'Highland Fling'.

I was strolling along the road one day
When I met a strager, going my way
His features contented, but handsome too,
Was he from my world or the planet Q?

Letters-- are a friend's best way
To brighten up, anothers day,
Half an hour, is all it needs
To fill a page with happy deeds,
