1.

They couldn’t speak! They were maimed!
They now are far from where they’re named!
They wanted to eat – so they’re on feet!
We turn a blind eye – This is called deceit!
...

My eyes breathe the air of your imagination
And distorts the image of the surroundings I walk in.
I shall accept my loss from this world into you
In you I shall survive, in you I shall die...
...

1.
As I slip into my dreams
With the spell of your lullabies.
As I dip into my dreams-
...

Appearing as foul creatures
The street Beggers
Day and night they’re meant to strive
On crumbs of bread they must survive
...

Guns down! No! You don’t want to kill a brother!
Does blood taste as peace, that you don’t whither?
For the debt they can’t pay - bombs, riots, genocide
And you fill, your heart - with her diseases, suicide!

Mute

They couldn’t speak! They were maimed!
They now are far from where they’re named!
They wanted to eat – so they’re on feet!
We turn a blind eye – This is called deceit!

They couldn’t speak! They needed cure!
To hear their fatal wounds, nobody’s pure!
Dengue, Malaria and blackened feet!
We pretend to be deaf – This is called deceit!

They couldn’t speak! They needed home!
Like nomads on sand, they rest in their roam
They wanted roof, shelter, warm feet!
We live on double beds - This is called deceit!

They couldn’t speak! They were mute!
They suffered pain and tears – chronic or acute!
They needed our help, give them wheat!
We fight for our own – This is called deceit!
