Burn Scars

In this world there is pain
No one feels this more than the fire and the rain

The rain always dropping its ugly tears
All cause the fire doesn't know she cares

The fire tries to show her concern
But we all know that fire just burns

The fire wants to scream out her sorry
But then the water goes blurry

The rain is so hurt
But the fire didn't mean to be curt

The fire just tries to protect herself
From the hurt of trusting someone else

But the rain keeps trying until she finally gets there
But when it finally happens something stops her care

And so she leaves like every other
She than wonders how you call yourself a mother

The fire is so smothered by sadness
That she wishes the world would banish

So she decide to burn the world
In herself she becomes curled

A few years later and she's still sad
But some of that has turned her mad

So she goes to a place
Where she forgets peoples face

But another fire shows up
And she thinks maybe this is luck

She can see all his pain
Judging from the tear stains

They leave the place together
And think they'll stay together

But fire and fire still will burn
Until nothing is left but a sense of scorn

Through that scorn of fate
Came three little balls of hate

The oldest was known as kind
Until he is not and there fear you will find

The middle was cheery and could make others smile
But as she grew up realised no one would stay for awhile

The youngest was tragic and used humour to hurt
His words made you feel like dirt

But even through it all the fire decided to stay
For she did not want the kids to end the same way

But the father could not see
For his scars were far worse than me

But for that he created the scars
That might one day fill my memoirs

For I am the middle child
And when he left I Just smiled

Covering up all the tears and scars
Knowing no one can see them from afar
