Hidden Love, Lost Love

He means more to her than glint of silver
Sparkle of jewels and gold, together
Her love unseen like a bud in winter
Waits quietly there, but spoken never

And her voice says more than the words themselves
In eyes shine the hidden truths of the heart
Her soft, passionate touch of her love tells
All invisible again when they're apart

But if he were to leave, her world would fall
Crushing her heart like the timber of trees
She would waste away to nothing at all
Feelings locked away, since he holds the keys

But all this is for naught, he is quite blind
The secret of her love is left behind.
