We’ll go back to the willows

And to our river’s still, no,
...

I’ve submitted my documentation
(It backs me up)
It serves, inside, as the shiny side of my alibi
(This cracks me up)

(But not the pretty pictures they hold up)
I made them aware of what might be what. Right where.
...

It is foolish to suggest

These twin sisters finish

Those days

Why did my Daddy

Willows

We’ll go back to the willows

And to our river’s still, no,

It’s constant as rivers go.

We’ll lend our laps as pillows.

And watch our water

Littered with new leaves

Wet on just one side,

It’s lit…a sun jewel

& you’ll be sunny too.
