The Stars That Look Down
Once on a peaceful night,
when I lay enjoying the sight;
The puffy clouds gave way
to the little twinkling stars that gay.
It seemed as if the sky had worn a gown
and the stars seemed were looking down.
At night when on my bed I sleep,
through the window the twinkling stars do peep.
And when others are in a sleep so deep,
the twinkling stars seems to weep.
But do the stars really look down?
Into the little heart of the town?
Looking at them just fills me with pleasure,
for me they are the greatest treasure.
