Something

Ever get the feeling; you want to see something beautiful?
An urge normally accompanied by a teasing ghost of a love lost.
An overwhelming desire to witness something unique and perfect,
Something capable of inducing that feeling of total happiness and
appreciation for life,
That can not only lift you from your darkest moments,
But eradicate any memory of darkness ever having existed,
Suddenly bringing to life, a value for every second passed in its presence,
And in turn, every second passed, adding value to your own life.

Imagine having the unfathomable luck to witness that 'something' every day?
Waking early to collect those precious extra minutes, enveloped in the
warmth.
Somehow, if it's possible, it's even more beautiful than last time you
looked,
And you just, stare, your gaze only broken by a need to blink,
You begin to realise that your self-proclaimed atheism is a lie,
Because surely what you have found is a miracle and a blessing.
For the first time, you love something more than yourself.
And it's something that you would be eager to give your life to,
If when you read this, it makes sense, then you already have.
