George Klonarakis Poems

My captured heart does not wish to,
Be rescued from the spell of you.
Discard the key which sets me free.
I will willfully a captive be.
...

Broken heroes bitter tears.
Discarded souls enslaved by fears.
The ones who love you know your heart.
They've been beside you from the start.
...

Memories, like sands of time
Can softly drift between the lines
No matter where your steps lead to
Memories, come calling you
...

Frozen, silver nightingale.
The moon invades the night.
Lonely, bitter vagabond.
The wind skulks out of sight.
...

On a winter's night of restless dreams.
And all is calm, or so, it seems.
Bathed in moonlight, shimmering.
A snowbank lays in wait of spring.
...

Sharpen your swords and powder your kegs,
When the Lycan screams out your name.
Lower your shutters and bolt your doors.
Your prayers are but in vain.
...

Feelings move like ocean waves.
They carry with them joys and pains.
Whether tiny ripples or tsunami.
They ebb and flow perpetually.
...

My captured heart does not wish to,
Be rescued from the spell of you.
Discard the key which sets me free.
I will willfully a captive be.

For now for then, for all of time,
My heart is yours, let yours be mine.
My love, my life, I do bequest.
For you, my love, at your behest.
