Of darkness and imperfect sights was born,
With astronomical accuracy you might say,

In the temporal domain of experience,
I reside fully submerged,
Seeking consciousness and knowledge,
The full sensual impact to my physical body.

The Birth Of The Doric Nation

Of darkness and imperfect sights was born,
With astronomical accuracy you might say,
Of barren, primordial rocks,
In unsuspecting barbaric legacy,
Circumference kissed by the Sea.
Then Spring came - disfigured still,
Upon a curving sky of Time, the Titan gods befallen.
The Hour was ripe for the invaders.
Attracted by the blue boundaries of ocean rivers,
And forests of olive trees - hill after hill,
In concert with a friendly sky and orchestrations of harmony,
And so they stayed.
Pounded with iron and bronze.
Islands, mountains, plains,
Pounded the Earth Awakened,
from Crete to Macedonia,
Reflecting the will of men who knew no fear.
Monuments of rocks they made,
In shapes and forms unknown,
Greatness unleashed profusely,
The laws of nature arrested, unwoven, deciphered, paper-bound,
With geometrical symbols and undisputed logic.
Beyond the Pillars of Hercules thy ventured,
And the blue vineyards of Latin Seas,
Beyond the plains of Ethiopia, Africa circumnavigated.
To set the course for all mankind.
