Misunderstandings

Gone, she`s leaving.
Or is it me that`s leaving?
I can`t tell anymore,
All I know is this was the last straw,
She`s gone, I’m leaving.
One too many drinks,
One too many close calls with the reaper,
One too many misunderstandings.
I`m off to live with the other side,
Cause authority says it`s safer.
I don`t know, sure it`s safer,
Either way I’m too little to understand.
All I can tell is she`s gone,
Arrested by her own disease…
So I think I realize why, maybe there is a problem,
Maybe our family does have issues,
But is it really me?
Do I need help?
Nothing but an empty table and a TV in this room,
Yet I sit and wait,
I wait for my ride, my new house,
My new home.
My father will take me now,
Promising a better life,
Hope.
But for all I know,
This could just be another misunderstanding
