Three Hearts

There once were two hearts in this world made of stone,
Brought together as one, no longer alone.

Days went by and months had passed,
Building a love they were sure would last.

Then one sad day, torn back into two,
Both hearts parted, but feeling so blue.

Months had gone by, trying to make a new start,
Both full of pain, wishing they never did part.

Fate brought them back together, with a love that's so true,
Now back as one, but with much stronger glue.

Their bond is now stronger than ever before,
They both have their wings, and will forever sore.

Now the two hearts are again full of love that is real,
The pain is gone, the wounds have all healed.

Soon they will have their wedding day,
Then after that a little heart on the way.

When that day comes how blessed they will be,
The two hearts that are one, have now become three.
