Gladys Gladys Poems

1.

IN the cresses of the night
A giggle
Now hoarse, rasp laughter
...

2.

A young boy, seven years old pale and thin
Smiles,
Reads,
and prays
...

Living in a shoe with a big baboon
She waits
And he eats plates
Oh! There all just fools
...

Shall we Start softly?
Yellow the color one gets for the unknown baby,
And the color of the galaxy’s shirt
Yellow is techno
...

Samantha is open,
But I am surrounded
I swift pass the ball to and fro between my feet
Slightly tripping over my opponents cleats
...

Once I was
A blank canvas
Wainting for an artist
Now I am
...

I’m staring at the screen contemplating what to write
My feet are being warmed from the heater at the right
I still, have Nothing
My mind is not at ease
...

God
All-knowing and Holy Redeemer
Mighty hands smoothing out the earth
Help Me
...

I saw clearly.
He was a string in the wind.
He turned and bounced.
I saw his green, blue and pale.
...

Don’t take this as an offensive, that’s is not why I’m here
There’s just a question is, what you see in her?
She has a price tag as a necklace, a pipe on her sleeve
She doesn’t know your name but is not afraid to please

I'm 15, I would love to go to the Art Intistue of Chicago. Just a thought: Am i the only one who sees art w/ a sence of value and beuty, instead of just a picture or a sweet drawing?)

Agree

IN the cresses of the night
A giggle
Now hoarse, rasp laughter

I, must keep walking
A Cross in my hand, slips and burns
I never agreed to this

Twisted corners and intertwining paths surround me
I hear a chant in my ear
A deep chuckle
I can only go forward, not back
My hands are damp
A trio of numbers on my forearm, from when I entered
I am in pain; I have been walking with no end
I never agreed to this

I turn, evil, smirks, darkness
I’ve fumbled, I scream in agony
I can’t tale it anymore
My body starts to shake, it’s like when I crept into darkness, except for the cold
My teeth chatter
My mouth is bitter
I’m mistakenly sinking further and further
I never agreed to this

Behind me they laugh,
“Where is your Lord”?
I don’t reply because, I can’t
I did the best I could in the war
I might have not confessed for a sin

I have become full of hate
And our new enemy for whom I fought for in the crusade
Abandoned me

Now I follow the young Knight
And chant, snicker and howl
He will soon find out
