Autumn came in mild and sweet, the Harvest Moon was due.
I sat beside an open window, until it came into view
A soft breeze played across my face, like zephyrs from Angel's Wings.
The stars shone brightly in the sky, bright, Heavenly, Cosmic Things.
Somewhere a voice out of my past, calls softly in my dreams,
Come away with me, my Love, to lands you've never seen.
Let me take you where there's joy, and happiness untold,
Where sadness is a stranger, where wings of love unfold.
Mountains cast their phantom shadows, while desert breezes sigh,
From a river, silvered by the moon, comes a coyote's mournful cry.
Bright stars that shine like diamonds, in a velvet summer sky,
The moon is at it's zenith, and night birds on the fly.
