Ode To Sweet Poetry
Words are like your noble slaves
They obey your firm artistic commands
In shooting enchanting electric waves
To thrill and mesmerize my tympanum
The carefully curved words of your poems
Are a melody to these ears of mine
I need not labor, to squeeze the juice
Confined within every single line
Your masterstroke has gained the praise
Of my spellbound tympanum:
“Beautiful poetry dances on your piece
Like a masterfully stroked African drum”
