Hala Mahmoud El Banna Poems

With red and orange to warm,
Yellow to keep it alive and burning
And finally the white to cool and calm.
...

Visions mingle
Hopes twinkle like stars
And the brightness of the moon is what I seek
Is it the moon, or what's behind such brightness ...

Fashion Of The Heart

With red and orange to warm,
Yellow to keep it alive and burning
And finally the white to cool and calm.

She was so eager to dress up in those
colors of the heart,
Whisper the sounds of ecstasy,
fly with the wind that holds
secret promises
With her dreams lingering
And her mind imagining
Oh! Days to come
With the wildness of the feeling.
Abortive Mind Heavy the legacy sometimes
Why is it so?!
I really can't tell
I really don't know

Ideas before my giving them birth are aborted
when abnormal, heavy and painful to set free.
They pass in silence and never come to be.

Undeveloped, immature.
For my peace of mind and sanity, I ABORT.
