Hymn To The Seas

Thus endeth the life of a child, new born.
Slaying the thought of the voyage, unsound.
The Beast of the waves, as it once was thought.
Sunken forever and left there to rot.
Devoured, whole, by the quintessence of blue.
A fraud by nature, a merciless coup.
Crafted by Man, with the intention of bravado.
Karma came along, a deadly desperado.
Behold the power, the strength of that majestic creature.
Feel it. Hold it. Embody it, it is your teacher.
Zeus of the Land, governing the waters.
Bringing back home, not last of its daughters.
Praise the oceans, praise how they’ve grown.
A Royalty of Blue, fixed on Earth, rather sown.
