Helena Lizon Poems

If I write by the light of the moon
Will it be more beautiful?
If I doo all I can kneel down before you,
sacrifice my life, slit my wrists
...

I sit here, listening to the soundtrack of my dreams
So close I can touch them
Graze my fingers lightly across their seams
They bite back

If I write by the light of the moon
Will it be more beautiful?
If I doo all I can kneel down before you,
sacrifice my life, slit my wrists
and feed you my blood
Will you call me beautiful?
If I give up everything I ever had
Run down the freeway, bare in the blistering heat
With no way to be seen
Will you tolerate me?
If I left you alone,
Laid down in my grave
Drowned in my own tears
choked on my fear
Would you like me?
Possibly if I stood on the Eiffel tower
Revolver in hand
Counting down the minutes to midnight
Pull the trigger, arch my back
And paint the perfect picture
Would you maybe, ever, hopefully love me?
Can I be the piece of home that holds you heart?
Always forced to come back to me
So when I need you, when I am afraid
You appear
Is it possible for me to hold your hand?
Can I have to chance to be your shining light?
Your guiding lightning strike?
The man on the moon whispering your name?
I promise I won’t harm you.
Wait a bit
Cut your wrist
Bleed you dry, cry your blood
All so you can not escape me
Lend me your hand, it hurts less then force
Run away now… It never hurts without me
I wish you well, better then my life
My personal hell
You got some time on your hands
Say hello to me, give me a hope
And I will plan a way for you to see me
A chance for you to see, my perfect work of art
The perfect dance of death
Gold my hand, but be careful
The revolver may slip free
Fire in your hand, break your skull
And bring you down with me
Don’t forget, arch your back, and just fly free…
