Hikaru SuohStaels Poems

A heart
of shattered gold
That paste itself back together
Pulled away from broken tether
...

One light
In frozen darkness
Hope's eternal flame
The guardian of my sacred dreams
...

The hop, skip, and jump of spring
Nestled under jaybird's wing
Outcasting the beauty of it all
Within darkness' loving, tender call
...

The White Top Hat

A heart
of shattered gold
That paste itself back together
Pulled away from broken tether
And created freedom from locks

In white he glides
Throughout the night
In search of his stolen jewel
But to each lost
They are renewed
A catch to the care-free life of crime

For gold is one that cannot spoil
Die
Nor weather
Yet 'tis fragile to the touch

'tis the heart of gold
Under the white top hat
