How Far I'll Go

I can not say how much I do,
He will be over me, done and through.
Why did I even try to be happy again?
I guess my heart was being hurt by him.
I did not know how far I'd go,
But to yell and scream and start to throw.

I will not get over him,
Even though what is beneath the skin,
Will not show.
I am still in love with his eyes,
His smile, his laugh, and his cries.

I won't ever feel the same,
As long as his smile came.
It's hard to know what feeling I am,
Is it hatred, sadness, or am I glad?
I cannot complain and boast,
How much I'm lonely and sad.

I will not be depressed,
Because his eyes put me to rest.
I will not get to tell him the truth,
The way his eyes put me in a trance.
I loved him than and always will,
But I will never know how far I'll go!
