Where I'M From, Age 8

I am from a little town called Dover only a mile wide
I am from a white pond where I fish by the streamside
I am from camping and hiking and mountains and lakes
I am from me and my mom baking a cake
I am from warm sand and blue sea
I am from playing at the beach you and me

I am from cold, New England winds, snowflakes on my nose,
I am from drinking hot chocolate when it is cold
I am from laughter and joy and memoires
I am from me and my dog playing by willow trees
I am from playing at baby animal farms
I am from my family and my mothers arms.
