The Dove Of Love

The light of love pervades my heart
It seems too far but though it's near
My thirst and need for love is high
For sure with it my thirst is quenched

The me and I persuades the heart
And leave on it the scars and dusts
The love I seek can kill my lust
With it my heart can starve the lust

My sleeps at nights can blur my sight
With foods and drinks my heart is trapped
Like bird of cage with lengthy sight
The bird has got a limited flight

In you my heart is filled and bright
With love and light I reach the sky
The love with which my wars are won
In it my heart is free from thorns

The love that feeds my herd from graze
For years without a drop of rain
My source of love can never drain
It grows and grows without a stake

I searched for love throughout the day
And then at night I'm left with pains
The love I seek may come with pains
A drop of love can cast my chain

My days on earth can be a waste
Without the love I seek to taste
In it I swam and had a bathe
And then I got to know the taste

I thought my search can cost a life
But now I know it takes no dime
It bored my heart like dim of ray
And filled my heart and then my veins

In love I dive offshore
With it my eagle soars
Beyond the height of Storm
And then my heart is warm

The love that heals my scars
It shines as though a star
You leave my heart ajar
If you want to be afar

I heard about the love
And then I searched for love
But now I've got the love
I'm now the God of Love...
