HyunSeung Kim Biography

HyunSeung Kim was born on April 4,1913 in Pyongyang, North Korea. HyunSeung and his family moved to Jeju Island and lived there until they moved to Gwangju when he was 6 years old. He dropped out of Soongsil college due to illness. With his poem 'At the coming of lonely winter evening should you' submitted to a popular korean newspaper Dong-a Ilbo he started his career as a poet.
