Why?

why do we expect so much from others?
If we expected less, we wouldn't get hurt as much.
why?
why do people hurt innocent children, teens or even other adults? why do they shoot up schools, movie theaters, or even take away the lives of innocent people running a simple marathon?
why?
why do we harm others?
is it because we're insecure?
why do we lie?
to hide the feelings inside.
why?
why do we take pills, drink, cut, smoke, and shoot.
why do we take a pill to kill the pain, cut to break the vein, smoke to ease the crave, drink to win the game.
why?
An addiction is an addiction; because it always hurts the same.
