Indresh Kumar Poems

Who are you to decide one's fate
When you never open any gate
For the aspirants willing to be something
Or, at least, to get anything;
...

O my dear friend
Give me your hand
Of support and guide
To maintain my pride;
...

Why did'st thou cross thy line
Of protection, which was also thy armour
Ere which wert thou free from each pine
That killed thy conscious and snatched all pleasure
...

Be you not proud of your beauty
That'll perish in days to come
Nor be you of your vanity
That is momentary and be gone
...

In the heart of mine
You dwell as Divine
O my valentine!
O my valentine!
...

Five years art over
When I met my sailor
Who sailed my aimless boat
Towards life or a certain post
...

Time, time, o my time
Ring you like a chime
That always spreads a melodious tune
And relaxes one's mind like a good fortune;
...

An insect shaped like a butterfly
Not really willing to die
For he feared to be flown
By the wind that was being blown
...

Up, up and behold, the world doesn't cease to exist
For those who're daring and courageous
And they've held the world in their fist
For them is the life a tremendous
...

In thunder, lightening and rain
A dog was crying with pain
For he had no shelter to hide
So, in my veranda he remained coiled
...

Comment On Destiny

Who are you to decide one's fate
When you never open any gate
For the aspirants willing to be something
Or, at least, to get anything;
Why do you play a destructive role
When you never play a constructive role
With those who toil and toil much
And who've no other weapon as such;
You should be ashamed of what you do
You should neither defeat nor let them go
Unsatisfied, so that they can worship you
And be favoured by you.
