I had a vision, of a woman,
She was naked, slender, and tall, ,
Her skin was the color of golden sand,
Against which, the blue veins of her calves and arms traced patterns,
Her long arms reached her knees,

She was leaning against a wall, in a dark corridor..
Light entering from the far end of which, lit up part of her face,
The rest was shrouded in dark.

Her long hair gathered around her neck,
Let loose from one side,
Covering and revealing her body.
It was the color of earth, her hair, rough and awry.

Her eyes were closed, head rested against the wall,
Her face without expression but full of thoughts.

Lips closed taut, her straight long nose, impressive in profile.

Her fingers were cupped around a glass.
In it was a liquid, dark.

It spilled from the glass,
Onto the floor and onto her feet,
One drop at a time.

She was killing her pain,
one thought at a time.
