Be Still

Looking for answers in
the notes of music
as it gently flows
through the open space
reaching only a tiny hole
in an open heart
maybe just a bit filled
with its Divine touch
maybe just a fragment
of something unknown

Be still
Be still

I will embrace you
the way you want
I will give you
the notes you so
desperately search for
for music is an open space
to feel but no answers will ever come
from any note

Music is a ballade
from an ancient book
when you open it
it's empty
blank pages you will see
but the music continues to play
and you will hear it sounds
as you wake in the morning light
and lay your head
in the dark of night
it will continue
