The tides of time erode a love,
but a love as strong as us!
As hard as iron and solid as rock,
those waters to can crumble and rot.
And should those waters turn to ice
or in rapids cast a mist of vice,
I still can look and see that queen,
calm them to a summer stream.
And as the mist resembles rain,
true love thats true resembles pain,
so you must swim against the tide
and walk against the rain,
to claim you place as a king,
standing by that summer stream.
